Kristine Powell is a dedicated educator and mother of 3 kids, who range in age from elementary to high school. With a master’s degree in education and over 13 years in teaching experience in both public school and homeschool, Kristine is a passionate teacher who aims to inspire her students to love learning. She delights in encouraging students to notice God’s grand design in creation and within the order and precision of mathematics. When she’s not teaching, Kristine can be found at the ball fields cheering on her kids’ baseball and soccer endeavors. She also enjoys serving alongside her husband as he pastors at a wonderful, local church. Her favorite days are spent on family hikes, enjoying nature, and being active. This year she will be teaching Biology 1 and Pre-algebra at Legacy.
