As a mom, one of my deep desires is for my children to follow Jesus, educated with excellence from a Biblical perspective and equipped to change the world. Homeschooling children is daunting, especially during the middle-school and high-school years. Legacy has taken the fear out of these difficult years. We have been part of the Legacy family since its inception. In that time, we have had a first-row seat to watch God’s hand move in this incredible program.
Legacy’s curriculum includes difficult subjects led by qualified teachers. The level of excellence offered through the entire Legacy program is like nothing we previously experienced. The leadership of the program cares for and invests in each student. This example is extended through the teachers that have been carefully selected based on their training in education or field of specialty. Legacy’s quality education is college preparation while ensuring graduation requirements are met. The Legacy leadership has also partnered with us to tailor assignments to help students during challenging moments.
We have seen our children develop into independent thinkers as they have had the freedom to complete assignments given each week in class on their own. Our children have grown by wrestling with difficult topics and developed a growing Biblical worldview. What is especially amazing is how our children have grown into young adults through self-motivation and pushing themselves in Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II without the tears that previously came in our early homeschooling days. They have had the opportunity to take part in labs for Biology, Chemistry, and Biology II without extra supply costs or mess.
Legacy has allowed our family the flexibility to homeschool while offering the children a top-notch education. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our children to Legacy.
